Summer Reading

Appleby Summer Reading
The summer reading projects linked below have been thoughtfully designed by our teachers to help students maintain important literacy skills and prepare for the year ahead. While these assignments are completely optional, students are encouraged to participate as a way to stay engaged in reading over the summer and ease the transition into their next grade level.
Students should complete the summer reading assignment for the grade they have just completed. We hope these activities inspire students to read, think, and learn throughout the summer months.

A special night in September will be selected for a reception with the winners and their families.
