Welcoming New Staff to the District

This week we had a great week welcoming all of our new staff members to the district! New teachers, Child Study Team members, and paraprofessionals came together to learn more about the district, meet their colleagues, and get ready for the start of the school year.

A lot was packed into the three days. District administrators helped welcome new staff and joined them on a tour of the district’s schools where the principals walked the group through each building. New teachers also spent time with their department chairs and were paired with buddies who will be an extra resource and friendly face throughout the year.

The Board of Education, PTA, SEF, SEA, district administrators, and department chairs all took part in welcoming the group, giving new staff a chance to meet some of the people and organizations that make Spotswood such a special place.

There is an amazing group of new staff joining the district this year, and we can’t wait for students and families to meet them!
