Registration

Begin by filling out the pre registration forms above and we will contact you to set up an appointment.

The documents required to register are listed on the first page of the registration packet. Your child will not be able to start school without up to date immunization records which will be verified by our School Nurses along with any other required medical forms.  

Once you have established your permanent residency in Spotswood/Helmetta you can go on our school website and pre register and we will contact you to set up an appointment to come in with your documents. We do our best to make this process as quick and seamless as possible so we do not interrupt your child’s educational progress.

Yes, you can enroll your child at any time during the year.

As part of our registration packet we have a release of school records form that you will sign and we will reach out to your child’s prior school district for records.  Any recent standardized testing or report cards that you can provide during the initial registration appointment would be helpful in speeding up the scheduling process.

You will be contacted by your child’s school with regard to start date, schedule and any other requirements that they may need from you, once they go over your registration packet and our Nurses check your child’s medical documentation This process may take a few days depending on when the initial registration takes place.

We ask that you initially provide a confirmation letter from your prior district as well as fill out a new School Meals and Summer EBT application for the Spotswood school district.  This application can be found under Parent Resources/Cafeteria.

Yes, our Food Service vendor is Pomptonian.  They offer breakfast and lunch and various snacks for purchase. You can fill out an application online in your Parent Portal or via a paper application at any time during the school year. You will receive a determination letter in the mail as to whether or not you qualify.
